REUK’s Educational Wellbeing project addresses the challenges that commonly force refugee and asylum-seeking young people out of education.

What we’re funding: The project supports 80 refugee and asylum-seeking young people to address, navigate and mitigate the practical and/or psychosocial challenges that typically force young people out of education. It’s based on REUK’s research on the importance of education in rebuilding the lives of young refugees.

Why we’re funding: REUK has a strong track record of equipping refugee and asylum-seeking young people to build hopeful futures by thriving in education. We see real potential in their ability to influence others with their approach to education and wellbeing needs, and are excited by their eagerness to share learnings across the sector.
