Our funding of core costs will enable Delight to expand its arts-based learning programmes for children and young people from disadvantaged backgrounds and/or with additional learning needs.

What we’re funding: The Delight vision is for every child to have an equal opportunity to thrive during their school years and beyond. Our funding of core costs will allow for an expansion of its arts-based learning programmes. These support children from disadvantaged backgrounds and/or with additional learning needs to experience improved mental wellbeing and confidence, explore their creativity, and engage better in learning.

Why we’re funding: Delight is a collaborative charity that has developed guiding principles to ensure the schools and arts partners it works with share its values and are committed to delivering a high-value arts programme. It performs exceptional work in the arts education sector, and hopes to create a longer-term legacy of arts within schools, that is not wholly reliant on its programmes, suggesting potential for wider application.
