The Rayne Trust was established by Lord Rayne to support organisations in which
its Trustees (Lady Rayne and the Hon. Robert A. Rayne)
have a close personal interest.
Its annual expenditure is approximately £400,000.
The Trust shares the Foundation’s overall theme of bridge building. It focuses its contributions on these two areas:
- Social welfare and arts charities known to Trustees and working in the UK to help young and older people
and others disadvantaged by poverty or social isolation. Unsolicited applications for work in the UK will not be considered.
- Projects in Israel. We are not inviting applications for work in Israel at this time. Due to a major donation in 2008, the Trust's
resources are heavily committed. Details about our future grantmaking strategy will be posted here as soon as they are known.
If you are considering applying to the Trust you should first discuss your proposal
with the Grants Manager, Susan O’Sullivan 020 7487 9630 or
