Rayne Grants is our open application programme, and each year we field a great
many applications. If you are considering applying for a Grant, we want you
first to be fully aware of the minimum requirements for a successful application.
This may save you a good deal of time and effort, and will help you to establish
whether there is a positive match between your organisation’s aims and those of the Foundation – and subsequently, whether you think it is worth applying. Our E Guide has been designed as a quick and effective
means for you to understand Grants. Please complete the E Guide or alternatively
read our Printable Guidelines.
As a statistical overview of our organisation, here is a sample
of facts concerning our past expenditure and our likely level of investment in the
near future. A list of our previous year’s grants appears in our Annual Report &
Accounts which you can find in the News & Archive section of our website.
In the year to 30 November 2007:-
- 1,146
applications were received
- 103 awards were made, totalling £1,407,550
- The average
award was therefore £13,666
- The maximum grant was £50,000
In 2008 we expect to invest about
£2 million in total.
