The Rayne Foundation aspires to understand and engage with the needs of UK society,
and to find ways and means to help address those needs. We focus on work which has
wider than just local application, or which is of national importance. We work within
four sectors;
Arts,
Education,
Health and Medicine,
and
Social Welfare and Development.
Within each of these sectors we have an evolving list of areas of special interest.
We never work alone, always preferring to forge partnerships with organisations
and individuals who share our objectives. We use
five tools
for addressing society’s needs including Rayne Grants – our only programme that accepts unsolicited applications.
We are always looking for new ways in which to fulfil our objectives, and we expect
to invest about £2 million in 2008.
